Child Safety

1. Zero tolerance

Starbloom does not permit content that sexually exploits or endangers a child, in any form, anywhere on the platform — including the NSFW Section, where the same rule applies without exception.

This covers sexual depictions of a minor, whether photographic, drawn, animated, or generated by any tool; sexualised commentary about a child; grooming and solicitation; and trading in material of this kind or in links to it.

There is no context in which this is allowed, no age gate that permits it, and no appeal that restores an account removed for it.

2. Reporting it

Report it to us: use the report control on the content itself, or email safety@starbloomstreaming.com.

That address reaches the people who can act on it directly, at any hour. You do not need a subject line and you do not need to explain who you are.

Give us the link. That is all we need.

Do not attach, forward, download, or re-upload the material. Do not send it to us to prove your report. Possessing or transmitting it is a crime in most places, including when the intention is to report it — a link is enough for us to act, and it keeps you out of legal jeopardy.

Report it to the authorities too:

  • United States: the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children — report.cybertipline.org, or 1-800-843-5678.
  • United Kingdom: the Internet Watch Foundation — iwf.org.uk.
  • Elsewhere: INHOPE lists national hotlines at inhope.org.
  • A child in immediate danger: call your local emergency number first. Report to us afterwards.

3. What we do

Reports of child sexual exploitation are the highest priority in our moderation queue and are handled ahead of everything else, at any hour.

Where we find this material we remove it, terminate the account without appeal, preserve the evidence as the law requires, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. We cooperate fully with law enforcement.

We do not notify the account holder before reporting.

4. Age of participants

Starbloom is 13+. Livestreaming, monetisation, and the NSFW Section are 18+ and require identity verification.

If you believe someone appearing in content on Starbloom is a minor — including in the NSFW Section, and including where they claim to be an adult — report it. You do not need to be certain. We would far rather review a report that turns out to be wrong than miss one that was right.

5. If you are a young person being pressured

If someone is pressuring you to send images, threatening to share images of you, or making you uncomfortable:

  • You are not in trouble. This is not your fault.
  • NCMEC's Take It Down service at takeitdown.ncmec.org can help remove images of you taken when you were under 18, without you sending the image to anyone.
  • In the US: call or text 988, or contact the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741741.

You can report a conversation to us. If this is happening in messages or in a chat on Starbloom, open the conversation and use the report control — it sends us the whole thread, so you do not have to pick out or repeat what was said. You do not need to screenshot anything, and you do not need to send us any image.

Block the person, keep the messages, and tell an adult you trust.
